Excise Distillery Wing

Distillery wing monitors functioning of distilleries , bottling plants and breweries units of J&K These units manufactures spirit, whisky, Rum, Gin and Beer and JK Desi Whisky. Excise Duty at various rates is levied on these brands. The functioning of these units is monitored by Dy. Excise Commissioner Distilleries assisted by Excise & Taxation Officer. Excise establishment on these units consists of Inspectors, Sub Inspectors and Excise guards. The numbers of these officials may vary from time to time depending upon the requirement at these units. The main aim of this wing is to collect excise duty and provide quality liquor to the consumer.
