JKEL-1A/1B/1W

 WholJesale end of foreign liquor to the manufacturer outside the state for sale to JKEL-1A

JKEL-1A : This licence is granted to the wholesale vend of foreign liquor to the Manufacturer outside the State for sale to JKEL-1. This licence is granted for a period of one year i.e up 31st March with License Fee applicable. This licence is renewed by the department after getting annual Licence Fee. The licensee shall maintain regular and proper accounts of receipt and sales . He shall also maintain a brand-wise register. The liquor shall be sold in sealed/capsuled bottles only and in no case shall these be opened or sold in part by the licensee nor shall he allow consumption of liquor of any kind on the licensed premises.

Grant of JKEL1A Licence:-

Every year Government of J&K formulates the Excise Policy and in pursuance to this policy these licences are granted . Once the licence is approved, the applicant is required to have a Bonded Warehouse approved for storage of liquor. The applicant immediately on the approval of JKEL1A Licence has to deposit Licence Fee, Brand registration fee and Brand Fee & apply for the following

1.    Registration of Brands

2.    Approval of Bonded Warehouse

3.    Approval of Label  etc etc.. See checklist for grant/renewal of these licences for details

JKEL-1B : This licence is granted to the wholesale vend of BIO(Bottled in Origin/Imported Foreign Liquor). This licence is granted for a period of one year i.e up 31st March with License Fee applicable. This licence is renewed by the department after getting annual Licence Fee. The licensee shall maintain regular and proper accounts of receipt and sales . He shall also maintain a brand-wise register. The liquor shall be sold in sealed/capsuled bottles only and in no case shall these be opened or sold in part by the licensee nor shall he allow consumption of liquor of any kind on the licensed premises.

JKEL-1W : This licence is granted to the wholesale vend of  Wines(Indian/BIO). This licence is granted for a period of one year i.e up 31st March with License Fee applicable. This licence is renewed by the department after getting annual Licence Fee. The licensee shall maintain regular and proper accounts of receipt and sales . He shall also maintain a brand-wise register. The liquor shall be sold in sealed/capsuled bottles only and in no case shall these be opened or sold in part by the licensee nor shall he allow consumption of liquor of any kind on the licensed premises.
