Possession Limit for Liquor

Liquor being an excisable article cannot be stored by a person without permission from the department. Possession limit has therefore been prescribed. Any individual person can store beverages within the prescribed limit for bonafide consumption by him. The present possession limit is given below:.

Foreign Liquor whether imported or made in India = 6 bottles of 750Ml

Beer/Wine whether imported or made in India = 6 bottles of 650ML
